Original pen and ink highly detailed illustrations from the book “ "Consider the Birds" by Colin Tudge - it is titled "The Bird" in the US (newly released October 2009) and "The Secret Life of Birds" in paperback in UK and Australia. Each illustration is approximately A4 size and the cost per illustration is £195 framed, £125 mounted or £100 for the illustration only.

As you can imagine, with nearly fifty illustrations there are too many to show here, Other illustrations from the book: peregrines nesting on city building (SOLD), fighting coots, streamertail hummingbird (SOLD), Clarke's grebes displaying, sage grouse lekking, great Indian hornbill at nesthole, bar-headed geese migrating over the Himalaya, Caledonian crows using tools, Albert's lyrebird displaying, migrating emus, Arabian babblers, shoebilll catching a lungfish, swimming anhinga, cockatoo, greater flamingoes and young at their nests, helmeted guineafowl at the waterhole, western scrub jays, herring gull feeding young, black backed gull dropping clams, crowned pigeon feeding young, adjutant stork in street, dodo (traditional image), dodo (modern image of leaner, more agressive bird), archaeopteryx, hesperornis, mononykus (all three are extinct species), diving petrels flying through waves (SOLD), landscape containing members of all bird orders, landscape containing all ratities and a tinamou.
